Zimbabwe is a country that captured the imagination of many South Africans from their heroic military struggle to the rebuilding of the country and the economic decline that followed their policy of land redistribution. I am fascinated at the correlation between the former combatants and now land owners and agriculturists and the role of propaganda used then and seemingly still now in forming public opinion on the state of affairs in that country.
